Gitzo Introduces New Aluminum Tripods 22 Sep 2006

Gitzo will introduce at the Photokina 2006 exhibition in Cologne, two entirely new and innovative aluminum Series 2 tripods that combine the most advanced materials, technology and performance with Gitzo quality.
These two new tripods revamp the traditional – and successful – Gitzo aluminum range with a wholly new concept of aluminum tripods. These tripods achieve exceptional strong and yet extreme lightness, by combining the new 1.2 mm wall tubes granting maximum rigidity and stability, and a dramatical reduction of the weight of other components like: the center column, the leg warmers and the revolutionary upper casting.
