1917
ArséneGitzhoven於法國創立了Gitzo,當時他主要生產攝錄機、機械快門線、快門(每天750件)及攝影工業的菲林架。
1942
世界大戰導致公司歇業。
1944
二十世紀五十年代,Gitzo的產品線再次開始生產三腳架。
1960
ArséneGitzhoven退休,他的女兒Yvonne Plieger與丈夫接管了公司,並開始致力開發各種頂級三腳架和雲台,並出口至世界54個國家。
1992
